It’s The Last Call For Our Free Education Day

If there’s one thing that we love most at Project Discovery, it’s the change that we see possible within each participant in our programs. That’s why we believe it’s so important to let local educators know how the Project Discovery program offers something different that our competitors in the area. Our 2nd Annual Education Day is scheduled for Saturday, June 17th. Teachers and administrators from local schools are invited to spend a day at the challenge course to experience the magic that happens every day at Project Discovery.

One of our participants from last year’s Education Day just wrote a great testimonial that we wanted to share with you:

Project Discovery is an absolutely amazing place to take students.  I went to the teacher education day last summer which introduced me to Project Discovery.  It took me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to learn more about myself.  I found myself doing things I never thought I would.  I found the same thing occurred with my students.  We took 100 of our 6th graders to Project Discovery for 4 days.  When the students left they were completely different kids.  They learned to trust each other, they made new friendships and went out of their comfort zone.  I saw students who barely talked all year working with others and trying their hardest.  These students built stronger relationships with their peers and made new friends that will really prepare them for the things they will face in day to day life when they get to middle school.  I want to thank Project Discovery for what they have done for my students and for me as well.  I strongly encourage anyone to go here and find a new side to yourself.  These memories will never go away!
