Tierney Cahill and Marcie Sierra of Alice Maxwell Elementary School were adamant: “We are coming whether there is snow or not!” And that they did. With close to 80 fifth graders they came to the mountains and received their good tidings. These students, their teachers and volunteer parents absolutely rocked the course. They didn’t let inclement weather even slow them down. Dressed for success they learned how to climb, support one another and have fun along the way. Truly an exemplary school in every way!
