Our Leadership Academy Camp (July 6-10) offers young people the opportunity to experience the adventure of zip-lining, rock climbing, backpacking, rappelling, kayaking and more, all the while learning how to improve their own leadership skills. Our “Learn By Doing” experiential approach provides young leaders the opportunity to experience the fun of high adventure outdoor pursuits while also learning how to conduct them safely and with kindness and support for others. Campers will learn how to take a greater responsibility in the outcome of any interpersonal situation including family, school and community. This camp is also the selection zone for campers hoping to be Counselors-in-Training with Project Discovery this summer and for employment in years to come! Many of our current employees started out just the same way. If you or your camper have in interest in high adventure and want to learn about leadership along the way, this is the camp for you!
