Teens seeking individuation and separation from Mom and Dad often don’t think of Summer Camp as an option. This camp is different. More of an expedition that pushes teens to focus, he responsible and look out for others, this camp is all about leadership of self, respect for others and learning how to safely push ones limits, support their team and use good judgment to make decisions.
Our High Adventure Camp is on the cutting edge of canyoneering and pushes teams to work together to successfully negotiate a challenging vertical environment. Rock climbing, rappelling, waterfall climbing, water sliding, zip lining and cliff jumping are just a few of the techniques that will be used to navigate through a remote canyon in the Sierra’s.
If you think it is time to have your teen physically and mentally challenged and be pushed into personal growth and to make new friends in one of the most beautiful canyons in the world, then High Adventure Camp is the camp for you. There is a Leader in your teen just waiting to be found.
is this program for deaf teens?
It definitely “can be” as we seek to not let limitations stop anyone from participating in PD programs.
It can be for anyone that is interested. We are in support of all who want to come and will make arrangements for whatever “ability level” you arrive with one way or another!
