These PHS students are online remote so they don’t get opportunities to connect with their teachers and fellow students… until NOW! Watching these students come out of their shells, reach out and make positive social connections while challenging themselves was very rewarding to witness. Our wonderment doubled however when we saw the smiles of joy on their faces in the afternoon after they were comfortable with their team mates and could really push themselves in a supportive team environment. Along those lines some of the expressions below you can only describe as PURE JOY.
