Julia came to us on a Washoe County Post-Covid Resiliency Grant. Selecting Julia was one of the best decisions we have ever made. She is a quick study and is never shy about sharing ideas to make the program even better. She initiated our work in the classroom this winter and has been instrumental as the ongoing liaison with both teachers and principals as we bring the Project Discovery magic to classroom after classroom. She has risen to the occasion and we are honored to have her working with us this year at Project Discovery. Her leadership, commitment and professionalism as well as the quality of her work proves the great value of AmeriCorps to our country.
