Our first session of Backcountry Camp was at the beginning of July and I’m just now posting about it here on the website. However, I did post on Instagram. We only had 8 campers on the first session of BC because of some last minute cancellations, but small and intimate is what we like. From the very first moment of meeting these kids we knew it was going to be an awesome week. And we were not wrong. From the team building on the ropes course and backpacking in to our camp by a beautiful alpine lake, to rock climbing and rappelling and cliff jumping and hiking, and all around adventuring, including a night spent on a ridgetop where we could watch the sunset and sunrise from our beds, these campers were there for it all. We hope to see them all back again next year, especially for our Leadership Academy!
