Last Saturday night witnessed the 26th Project Discovery Christmas Extravaganza. Only this time it was all outdoors at the Sky Tavern Ice Rink. Great Chicken Chili by Jamie was augmented with fire cooked brownies by Nate and a host of other great foods and drinks (yep, Josh supplied the Ullr). It was wonderful catching up and Maridy brought the spirit of Christmas with her with the giving of beautifully intricate Christmas ornaments for the tree. Everyone had a great time on the ice but few as much fun as Josh who powered through hockey with some good shots on goal. As always, it was the camaraderie and warmth that held sway and kept the cold weather at bay. Many revelers mentioned the fact that it was getting warmer and warmer despite the fact that the thermometer had dropped from 21 to 16 during the party. Guess not even Mother Nature can stop Project Discovery from the heart warming we all experience together doing good work and dedicated to making the world a better place. Our Currier and Ives Christmas Party was Christmas Spirit incarnate. Love to all who came and also to the staff that couldn’t make it. You make the world a better place.
May Innocence and Joy Prevail…
