Technically, it was the second day of the school year for middle school students from High Desert Montessori School, but it was a day of “firsts” at the Project Discovery ropes course. Seventh graders rose to the challenge, making their first big climbs to The Catwalk, or their first ride on our Giant’s Swing. HDMS students were also the first group to try out our new Leap of Faith element, which is just a bit bigger and a bit more zippier than the our last one. We also crammed more than 80 people into our tipi during a rambunctious game of Animal Squares, certainly another Project Discovery first. We can’t wait until next year!
