Fourth grade students from Incline Village Elementary School just can’t win when it comes to the weather. We were originally scheduled to host these students last November, but an early season snow storm shut us out until this week. Today they braved the chill of some heavy spring downpours, thunder and distant lightning. Although a severe weather warning was posted for the afternoon, much of the rain and all of the lightning stayed a safe distance from the course. Students and school staffs were definitely champs for ignoring the conditions and challenging their fears at the ropes course. They left today, having taken a huge step in their preparation for 5th grade. We look forward to working with them again!
