Inverse to the divisive nature of our current political climate, these students came to hone their skills in the Solutions Business. They worked hard to identify and overcome their own weaknesses while building on and celebrating their strengths, both as individuals and as a collective team. These young people came from all over, some as far away as Lebanon to enhance their leadership and scholarship with Project Discovery and we were honored to be able to work with them and help them along their way. Good luck McNair Scholars… the world needs your intelligence, attitude and commitment to improvement of the human condition. It was a pleasure to work with you!

We’ve been taking our college students to Project Discovery for several years now and the experience never disappoints! Our group is comprised of juniors and seniors who are all bound for graduate school. Though the students take a research course together in the spring, they always say that it’s not until they’ve completed the Project Discovery course that they truly feel like they’ve come together as a team. The physical coursework is challenging and fun, but it’s the excellent guidance of the Project Discovery staff in leading the students through thought provoking reflective sessions after the physical skill building that truly cements this experience as one the students will carry with them for a lifetime!
