As most of you know, this winter has been a doozy so it was time to posthole our way into the ropes course and climb in the snow with shovels to get the tons of snow off the platforms. Maridy Carpenter (My Hero) was brave enough to volunteer, so off we went. The snow was many many feet and tons more than I had hoped and with Maridy shoveling snow down the back of my neck at every opportunity… it made it even tougher. At one point I felt a little bit like the first casualty of the Donner Party as Maridy noted I was stuck in the snow and couldn’t get out… yes, very scary indeed. But luckily for me Mare had had a big breakfast that morning and all turned out well and we both made it out and left everything in good shape.
