Spent another great day with PHS students at Project Discovery. With the help of PD veterans Cadence and Lilly and a smattering of PD Canyoneers, this group exceeded any expectations we had for the day! An excellent group who understood and applied the value of supporting one another took on many of our more difficult challenges and with grit and determination, pushed through successfully to the end. Pioneer Academy staff Cary, Danielle and Kelli did an outstanding job as always cajoling, comforting and consoling students, getting them to push themselves a little further than they thought they could go resulting in a sense of pride and accomplishment once they touched down on the ground again after their sky bound adventure.
