14 very tough adventurers from Pioneer High School went up against blizzard conditions and came out the victor yesterday despite all odds! Everyone of the students that committed to going showed up bright eyed and busy tailed ready to brave the elements and learn how to ski, and ski they did, despite the blizzard conditions. Every one of these students did an amazing job of learning how to control their skis, stop and turn where they want and to explore the mountain. We are so very proud of each and every one of them for braving the white-out, most without even goggles. This group yesterday are my hero’s and they truly discovered a love for skiing and for life! You can definitely see it in their faces at the end of the day!
