Braving bitterly cold temps and wind as well as icy conditions on the slope but nary a complaint was heard. This team bonded, helped one another and really pushed their limits on the snow yesterday proving once more that Pioneer students are tough as nails. They didn’t go sit in the lodge did they? They didn’t go sit in the lodge because it was icy and hard as concrete did they? They didn’t go sit in the lodge because they fell a couple dozen times did they? No. These students had more grit than I have ever seen on the first day of practice.
The Project Discovery staff and I can’t wait to see what they can accomplish this season. This will be the best team ever!
