My favorite school came to visit today and I was again, amazed and impressed at just how strong, well spoken, supportive and brave these young people were at Project Discovery today. Pioneer High School is aptly named because many of its students are pioneers in the truest sense of the term. They pushed into the sky today through fear and at times, panic… and then came back for more. With enough support and caring they made the “impossible” become possible for each and every one them.
Staff and students taken together, this is the school I wish I could have attended in high school. This team was able to provide enough support for even the most fearful students to climb to the top and achieve success. It really seemed today that they could do just about anything they put their minds and hearts to. Which they learned… is the same way back at school!
