Peter Steinfelds and Mark Helleckson shouldered the herculean task of carrying five large Lodgepole Pines out of the woods and stacking it under black plastic. The trees had been attacked and infested by the Mountain Pine Beetle, a beetle known to take out entire forests. After carrying literally many tons of the wood it was transported away from the course and stored under black plastic in order to kill the little buggers before they can do any more damage. Sitting under the nice healthy tree with a cold one in our hands on Friday evening… we all knew it was worth it. You guys ROCK!
