There’s not a doubt that the weather in the Sierra can be challenging for outdoor activities during the fall. But our friends at Skiing Is Believing scheduled a camp to coincide with the Reno schools fall break, and the Project Discovery ropes course was once again a part of their program. The rainy conditions and cold temperatures meant that a few kids missed today’s program. But those that showed up and embraced the weather bonded and overcame a variety of new challenges. Isn’t it true that some of the best days of skiing also include stormy conditions?
