Project Discovery had the honor of conducting a ski instructor team-building training for the Sky Tavern Junior Ski Program this week. These highly skilled ski pros donate their time to help the children of Truckee Meadows learn to ski and provide ski and snowboard equipment regardless of their guest’s personal economics and carry on a tradition that started with Marce Herz and Keston Ramsey back in 1948. This volunteer-based ski program has taught more than 100,000 children to ski since then and is still going strong.
