These students excelled so well at the elements we had prepared for their age group that we had to set up more elements we normally only use with adults. What was striking was their care and trust in one another and their devotion to healthy support and encouragement to their teams. St. Avila has done a wonderful job in not only developing individual educational excellence but has also built in a sense of community which includes empathy, compassion and caring for one another. This was a wonderful day with a wonderful school and every one of these students came a long way in better understanding what it takes to be an effective and compassionate leader.
