For some adults, the mere mention of working with 7th grade students strikes fear in their hearts. But at Project Discovery, we know the difference we can make with these kids that are on the edge of becoming young adults. We faced some extra challenges today, as a bus transportation issue required a short program day. We also faced clouds, cold temperatures and a light drizzle for much of the day. Fortunately, the heavy downpours and severe lightning held off until 5 minutes after students were safely loaded on the bus back to school. Students walked away learning that anything is possible when you have the support of your team. We want to give a big shout out to Ms. Silsby and Mr. Russell for making it happen for these kids!
