Every year the Project Discovery Staff look forward to their day with the Silver State Hotshots. This year we offered a Great Race event, with a course spanning about 2.5 miles and ten different challenges. Each challenge explored the boundaries of the firefighter’ “comfort zones” and offered them an opportunity to grow.
These folks are at the top of their game and as wildland firefighters want to improve and enhance the way they work together and spend a lot of effort in doing just that. Highly motivated with true grit, these folks can be pushed hard to improve their game. This year was no exception and every one of these guys and gals rose to the occasion. We are honored to be a part of their firefighting tradition for five years in a row!
