You have many choices for summer camps in the Reno/Tahoe area. However, there is only one camp thats been around for over a quarter of a century operated by a person thats been working with youth for well over 40 years. I am Mike Selby and I started Project Discovery with the idea that summer camps should be a place of fun and discovery. Over the years I have developed a tried and true method for helping your child discover their strengths, connect with others and the natural world through adventure.
Although Covid 19 has thrown a wrench in everybody’s works this spring, we are hopeful that come summer things will have calmed down considerably and that we will host another wonderful camp season. Of course we are working hard in the meantime to establish new protocol which will keep your camper safe at camp and we will be posting details soon. As we all living though this unpredictable time we know its hard to commit to camps that may be impacted by Covid 19. Rest assured we are sensitive to this also and pledge for full refunds should any camps not be provided. With that in mind we will be limiting camp numbers this year to help mitigate the risks. That means early sign up is more important than in the past. Some of our camps are already almost full so sign up soon if you are planning on providing your child with a wonderful Project Discovery Camp Experience.
