The group of young adults who visited Project Discovery from TMCC’s Disability Resource Center are proof that disabilities are not an excuse to reaching for your goals. They came, they worked, they conquered, all while facing more challenges than the average person. These young folks are reaching for their dreams, attending college, making plans for their lives. And Project Discovery was one step to start them off in the right direction as they learned the tools needed to solve problems, cooperate with others, and build a strong support system for themselves as they venture out into their new phase of life.
