Pioneer High School students were back at the Mt. Rose Ski Area yesterday learning how to ski and learning some life skills along the way as well. Each of the students gathered the courage to push themselves past their fears and gain new skills on the snow and off. Helping, coaching, getting back up over and over these students supported one another in rising to higher and higher heights above the desert floor. And in so many ways, are better for it. We salute Mt. Rose Ski Area for their partnership and all of the students who have raised both their grades and their aspirations in joining and keeping high standards on the Pioneer Ski Team. Great job everybody!
