What a great day to be on the ropes course a couple weeks ago! Washoe County Social Services brought quite a few hand-picked teens from their Independent Living program. These are kids who are nearing or just passed age 18 and will soon be out of “the system” and on their own. What a great time to learn personal responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and other life skills. It was an emotional day for several of the guests, but breakthroughs were made and we hope some of the lessons learned stick with these kids through the next phase of their lives.
