Never has the weather cooperated to the point where Project Discovery has offered a climbing challenge in February, unless it was on skis. This marks the first time a group has enjoyed not only winter rock climbing but a swim at Lake Tahoe and ice cream on the beach mid-winter. It has been said that if you have lemons you should make lemonade… well the juice for this group was definitely worth the squeeze and everyone at this Pioneer High School field trip overcame difficult rock problems, managed their fear and both climbed and rappelled over looking the beautiful waters of Lake Tahoe.
Pioneer Staff and students once again proved that with great attitude and a little elbow grease and team support, comes great success. All of us here at Project Discovery are honored to work with these fine students and staff.
