Every so often on big snow years the platforms at Project Discovery must be climbed and shoveled off. It is, to say the least, unpleasant as the work is cold and tough. Our Ameri-corp Intern Julia Scheeler rose to the challenge and also enjoyed her first rappel as well. Something like 5 tons of snow were removed from the platform according to how my back felt that night… As you can see from her facial expression she had to push herself pretty hard to make her first climb ever on the course. She did however really enjoy the rappel down. Alls well that ends well.
Looking forward to a big Project Discovery Summer with our camps basically filling up in a little under four days… the words out. Project Discovery Rocks!
