A lovely end to the week for Rocks Ropes and Boats Session 7! The campers had a super fun day filled with swimming, rock jumping, and leisurely floating in Lake Tahoe

Today, the Rocks Ropes and Boats campers followed their leaders on a nature hike from the Project Discovery Course to a nearby Hidden Lake. They learned about birds, flowers, trees, and much much more along the way…

Climbing Day with the Rocks Ropes and Boats campers was a blast as always! The kids had a chance to try some easy to hard rock climbs, rappelling, and got to explore under a waterfall on the Truckee River!

Backcountry camp went off without a hitch this year! The campers had an amazing series of days hiking into the wilderness, climbing, swimming, and making delicious meals together! We are so looking forward to next year’s camp already.

To finish off a big week full of adventures, the Rocks Ropes and Boats Advanced campers went on a float of the Truckee River, passing amazing bridge and rock jumps along the way!

We finished off a great week for Rocks Ropes and Boats session 6 by enjoying the waves in Lake Tahoe, trying some big rick jumps and making friendship bracelets for fellow friends and campers.

The Rocks Ropes and Boats campers had an awesome day on Thursday as they enjoyed their nature hike near Hidden Lake and the Mount Rose chutes! They learned all about the beautiful plants and animals of the Sierra Nevada.

We had a super fun day with the Diamond Peak Education Foundation, teaching the campers about teamwork.  

Working with the Northern Nevada International Center allowed kids from Syria, Kenya, Burundi, The Congo and Afghanistan to attend Adventure Camp and boy oh boy did they have an adventure! For most of these children it was their first opportunity…
