Pioneer High School with the help of Principal Jason Zona and his excellent staff enjoyed their last ski of the season on a Nordic trek up Chickadee Ridge, where we did, in fact, feed these small and beautiful mountain fluff balls out of our hands. Through great challenge the summit was attained and all descended safely and with good humor (despite the carnage) back down to Tahoe Meadows where each team member was presented with a Pioneer Ski Team shirt and some appreciation of all they had accomplished. Kudos for everyone we partner with at Pioneer High School to make this such an inspiring program. Special thanks to John Corbitt, Cary Jorden and Danielle for making the program happen. As always I am honored to be a part of the greatest school in Nevada!
