Although the low snow totals this winter have been bad for us skiers and snowboarders, we’re happy to be able to expect normal flows in local rivers this summer. This allows the return of High Adventure Camp this season For summer of 2018, Project Discovery will be offering one High Adventure Camp session for kids from Grade 8 to Grade 11. Students are sure to experience exciting outdoor adventures with their team as they explore the Tahoe outdoors together!
The High Adventure Camp begins with a high-octane day at one of the largest and most challenging ropes challenge courses in the country. Participants in this camp will have an opportunity to face some of the more challenging obstacles at Project Discovery. Enhance your leadership on some of the more difficult elements then share your insights with your fellow campers as they offer appreciations at the end of the day for your contributions. After a night spent in a traditional Sioux tipi swapping stories and getting to know each other a little better, we set out for a canyoneering adventure in the Lost Sierra North of Lake Tahoe.
The canyoneering adventure includes water slides, caving, cliff jumping, bouldering, rock climbing and swimming and is guaranteed to provide participants with the adventure of a lifetime! Hope you join us to experience one of the most beautiful and breathtaking places in the world.
