Enjoyed a wonderful week in River Camp last week with some real Go-Getters. The scene was right out of the movie “Stand By Me” with the camaraderie and hi-jinx. These young people did an exemplary job of pushing themselves through hardship and fear and were subsequently rewarded with seldom seen drop-dead beauty and days full of adventure climbing, rappelling, cliff jumping, swimming and sliding down waterfalls. All in all an exception group of boys with a few tough girls sprinkled in for good measure. They give me hope for the future!
