There was snow on the ground and a chilly east wind, but the Sky Tavern Race Team was ready for action this weekend. At this time of year, all of us would rather be skiing than running the ropes course, but with Mother Nature throwing curve balls instead of snow balls…
Some people think of ski racing as an individual sport, but it’s not necessarily true. A whole new generation of ski racers learned the importance of building the self confidence, trust and support of your team makes everybody perform better. We spent the end of the day buttoning up the course, as during the winter months it is a part of the Sky Tavern ski area. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
