Forever 14, Project Discovery and Sky Tavern Team Up in New Suicide Prevention Program

We are very proud to be partnering with Forever 14 and the Sky Tavern Junior Ski Program in a new teen suicide prevention program called “The Legacy Project”. Named in honor of 14 year old Caleb Countess, who succumbed to suicide a year ago, this program will offer a suicide prevention program in connection with the Project Discovery Challenge Course. The program will help teens learn how to lead themselves into the future, support others and empower them to effectively problem-solve and address emotional turmoil more effectively. In one word, the program will help teens be more resilient at home, at school, at work and in their community.

Thank you to Scheels for supporting the Reno-Sparks community. We are proud to be working with these two wonderful organizations to help prevent the unthinkable.
