Registration Is Now Live For 2019 Summer Camps!

It seems like everyone around the Reno and Tahoe area is looking forward to putting down our snow shovels and enjoying some summer activities. This summer, we’re excited to offer four different weeks of camp, including two brand new camps. Here’s a quick summary:

July 8 – 12: Project Discovery Leadership Academy – This camp is 5 days and 4 nights for teens from 13 to 17 years, with a focus on further developing their leadership skills. Several of our campers have asked how to become Counselors In Training at Project Discovery, and this is the result. Enrollment is limited to just 12 campers.
July 15 – 19: Rocks, Ropes and Boats Day Camp – This is our classic offering for campers ages 7 to 13 years. It includes ropes course days, rock climbing, hiking and a day at the lake. Some of our campers are going on their fifth year of Rocks, Ropes and Boats!
July 22 – 26: Rocks, Ropes and Boats Hybrid Camp – We’re kicking things up a notch for our veteran campers, at your request. The hybrid camp offers 5 days and 2 nights (Mon & Tue) of fun. Campers will stay overnight in the tipis at the ropes course with PD staff supervision and meals are included for that portion of the week. It’s all of the regular fun plus some bonus night adventures.
July 29 – August 2: High Adventure Camp – We will be offering the high adventure camp for teens 13 to 18 again this summer. It includes 5 days and 4 nights of adventure. Typically this camp includes a big canyoneering trip. We’ll be keeping a watch on water flows after this wet winter and may adjust our plans to some new high adventures. We promise it will be both challenging and fun!
There’s far more details available our Summer Camp page and we encourage you to check it out fast. We are offering an early booking discount of $25 off of each camp through March 20th. If you’re one of those families booking multiple kids for multiple camps, the savings can add up! Each camp has a limited enrollment, so don’t miss out!
